The cable is an exact fit and length. I installed it on my VW sand rail and it was identical to the original cable. However, it does not come with a new e-clip so be careful not to loose it!

Quick delivery service. Fit like a glove. Speedometer still doesn't work, but I think I have a speedometer problem now. I know that the speedometer cable works.

Cable installed easily and it was great to actually know how fast I was going. However, it didn't last 2 months before the cable broke inside the cable housing about a foot from the dust cap end. Now I have to debate if I want to take the chance and order a replacement here or find a higher quality somewhere else.

Much better quality than the cable I purchased earlier from a VW parts company. It fit well and has better end connections.

It was for our sons bug,he was able to install it himself,would of been nice to had some directions though

Nice cable, but mine was about three feet too long. It's coiled up in the trunk, but it works fine.
