It’s good quality, the one I received had no extra trash or stinky smell like others complained about. It’s MOSS for crying out loud! Pretty bright color with some greenness to it. This brick makes up a good bit! I’ll have some happy orchids.

This is absolutely beautiful fluffy moss free of any sticks or debris, great for high humidity plants, and also smells very nice.

Disappointing experience with this Spagnum Moss. Developed mold quickly, which is a first for me. Never had issues with other brands

Don't be surprised at the small package, just make sure it's in a large container when you put water on it, it grow into a large amount. I never used it before, but since I tried it, I will make sure it's in my garden supplies.

I was very impressed by how much this expanded once it was put in water! It is definitely a better deal than just buying regular moss. I am using it for making moss poles for my plants and I will be making at least 3 good sized ones with this amount of moss. I would definitely recommend this!

It smells less like a forest and more like a dirty aquarium. The fibers are short, thin, and clump. It's useful, but not for my intended purpose in isopod bins. I'll go back to the other brand.

I bought and used this to bring more humidity and moisture retention into my snake cage. Easy to use. I got a lot for the price, I have a lot left lol. Quality product, I’d purchase again.

I don't understand all the complaints of little, tiny pieces, old moldy moss and that it stinks. Mine was a healthy beige color, nice, fluffy long strands, almost NO sticks, bark or leaves, and did not stink at all. Smelled like a forest floor freshly rained on. Perhaps these people got a rare, bad batch? I don't know, but I was super happy with it. (Did not measure how much it inflated to be after soaking, but it expanded a LOT. Was much more than I needed, so I just tore some off the brick and put the rest in a zip sandwich bag for later use. Very happy!

Good quality for the price, not the longest or thickest strands, but can't complain. An earthy smell at first, nothing pungent. Repotted my orchids and orchidlings ... hope they will thrive.

What impressed me most was the overall quality of this product. It smells like a northeast forest - fresh and full of vitality. The size of the pieces are quite large and consistent. No trash. Nothing undesirable. I used it to make moss poles for my climbing plants but I wouldn’t hesitate to use it in a terrarium or amphibian habitat. It costs more but worth it.
