I've recently got into learning how to bake and make desserts. A lot of recipes I'm reading calls for a hand mixer. I'm finding that for mixing liquids, it splatters a great deal (and makes a mess!). I got this splatter guard in hopes it solves the problem. It does for the most part. It didn't fit over my largest mixing bowl but that's okay. It fit my second largest. I do have to stop every so often and take a peek inside because the cover is not transparent/clear.

I used this splatter guard with my hand-held mixer. It definitely keeps the splatters inside of the bowl as opposed to flying everywhere. I did find it a bit awkward to be able to move my mixer around the bowl in order to incorporate all the ingredients, but maybe it just takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it.

This product didn’t really work as expected. It did not fit the stand mixer because the hole is in the wrong place and does not work with a handheld mixer at all. I would not recommend this product to prevent splattering from mixing.
