Right out of the box , the SSV logo was upside down , I had to remove the center stereo and rotate 180 and remove each speaker and rotate 180 , this was easy compared to the rest of the mounting problems to the visor , the hardware is not long enough to mount to visor as another buyer said the unit has to be stressed a ton to be pulled in place : the only reason it gets 2 stars is that the connection / wiring Was simple and as advertised , not even rating the sound quality yet so this 2 star rating is all installing NOT AS ADVERTISED

If you’re not looking for sound quality I’d say go for it but to be perfectly honest this system is overpriced trash! I added a sub to it but this enclosure rattles like a snake! I’ve had this era system over a year and it’s been the biggest buyer’s remorse item I’ve ever purchased! I was going to just replace the trash speakers and junk amp but the truth is the cheap plastic housing is so flimsy and shallow I’ll just have to replace it any way! POS

The brackets that mount directly to the speaker have to be clamped and stressed into place to get the screws in. The brackets that mount to the visor/roof panel the middle bracket needs to be better aligned as it is a real challenge to get the middle attachment washer and nut as there is too much space between the visor hole and the tab leaving just like one thread of the screw available to delicately tighten. Lost a nut that I will have to get from the hardware store screwing with this middle tab. Maybe some extra washers and nuts and screws? and fix the alignment!! Overall so far it will be great after the troublesome install...not too bad though.
