It's not only healthier to make your own, you can tailor the ham, or the other deli meats to your own taste.

Designed to provide you with an effortless experience, all you have to do is follow the comprehensive instructions and get creative!

Meat Prep:

Cube all of your meat into 1" chunks and run 2/3 of it into a meat grinder

Once done grinding put all of the meat together (chunks and ground meat in a bowl.)

Add all of the ingredients you like and spices to meat and mix very well.

  • STEP 1: Once mixing is completed stuff all of the meat (2lbs) into the ham maker
  • STEP 2: Place cover plate equipped with spring on top of your meat (spring facing up). Pressing on the spring and close cover properly
  • STEP 3: Marinate for 24-48 hours by keeping it in fridge
  • STEP 4: After the marinating period is complete place the ham maker in a pot filled with water. The amount of water supposed to be at the same level or higher than meat.
  • STEP 5: Cook for 1,5-2 hours in water temp 185℉(85℃)
  • STEP 6: When meat reaches 170℉(77℃) remove the ham maker from water, cool it in cold water and refrigerate for few hours or leave it for night.
  • Remove ham from the ham maker.
  • Slice meat to your desired thickness and ENJOY!!!

Tips:

* Do not leave thermometer inside Ham Press during cooking, it can become hot. Check temperature periodically.

* Do not place ham maker directly on the fire or heating plate!

* Remove the pressed ham is to run warm water around the outside of the ham maker. Remove the lid. Invert the ham maker onto a plate. The pressed ham will slide out. If it doesn’t slide out, run the ham maker under more warm water and try again.

My family loved the home made lunch meat. It was easy to use temperature gauge is pretty accurate. I dont have dishwasher , so just washed it by hand and it cleaned up nice.

This has been fun to play with and I've managed a recipe for a decent Cajun chicken breast. I like having homemade cold cuts and knowing exactly what's in them. I found it difficult to find more than a couple of recipes, so it took some experimenting but ultimately I'm pleased with the outcome.I found the best way to prepare the chicken was as follows:1) Puree 2 1/2 to 3 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast in a food processor. (Yucky mess but trust me)2) Add 2-3 tablespoons of Cajun spice mix (I used Club House brand) and salt to taste.3) Fit an 8" vacuum sealer bag into the cooker, it makes clean up a lot easier. Press the meat into the bag until the cooker is about 3/4 full. Fold the top of the bag over the meat and put the spring-loaded lid on the cooker.4) Chill the whole thing in the fridge overnight. This allows the enzymes to develop which will hold the meat together once it's cooked.5) I used a canning rack to keep the cooker from touching the bottom of my water pot (much like canning). Cook on a low boil until proper internal temperature is reached. The time will vary from 45 to 90 minutes depending on your amounts and the heat level.6) There may be a lot of liquid in the cooker when you're done. DO NOT dump it out! It will be reabsorbed into the meat so it isn't dry. Put the hot cooker into a bowl or basin of ice water to cool it quickly.7) Once it's cool enough, put the whole cooker back in the fridge to cool completely (I let it sit overnight).8) Remove the meat from the cooker, keeping the vacuum bag to store your cold cuts, slice and serve. I find it's 100% better with some sliced tomato.Good luck and enjoy!

I've used this three times since I purchased it a few days ago. Works well. The thermometer is only in Celsius, which is fine for me. A little tip, unless you're using a bag or other liner, I simply spray or wipe it with avocado oil. Helps the final product release after cooking and cooling.The only thing I can see that makes this a Keissco brand is the sticker they put on the product box, next to another brand name.

This item worked very well. It was easy to use. I would suggest for improvement - There is a hole for the thermometer to be put through to check the temp of whatever meat you are cooking. This hole is open so water drips into the meat as it cooks due to the steam from the boiling water. There should be a silicone closure or something to try to prevent water from leaking in while cooking but still allows the thermometer to be inserted to check the temp.The Thermometer that was delivered with my item was in celcius only. It would have been nice if there was a Fahrenheit scale as well.To clean, we had to "Unscrew" the spring from the plate to get it clean. This was not a hard thing to do - but without doing that you will never get all of the previous meats cleaned for the next use.

I’ve only made one batch of deli chicken so far but this is super easy to use. Sprayed the inside first with oil and had no issue removing the meat. Per instructions I didn’t leave thermometer in while cooking but spot checked. Looking forward to making more.

I used it to make my own turkey lunch meat and all I can say is get this!If you’re sick of buying lunch meat at the store that gets slimy make your own food at home! It was way easier than I thought and it does help to have a mandolin or some sort of meat slicer to keep the meat reminiscent of “lunch meat“
