I have a set of glass dipping bowls. These are much nicer though they seem a little shallow. They do not hold a lot of sauce. I tried dipping egg rolls in hot spicy mustard sauce and also into sweet plum sauce. These trays did the trick but they are a little shallow. I wish they were deeper.

Great dipping sauce pan. I use it when I eat hot pot or any food that requires dipping sauce. It is easy to clean, being dishwasher safe.

Korean/Chinese household here. This is great for dipping sauces, or even kimchi. Keep in mind this is NOT a very large or a very deep dish…which was exactly what I was looking for. We typically use a regular small bowl for dipping sauces, but I find myself always making too much and wasting ingredients. It’s also inconvenient to share a bigger sauce bowl without constantly moving it around. This is perfect for 1 person, maybe 2 …depending on the what you put in there. We use it mostly for kimchi and shabu meat dipping sauce, or wasabi soy sauce for sushi.This is also great for kids! My husband, son and I now all have our own dipping sauce which has been really nice. I’ve also used it for dipping apples in peanut butter for my 6yo.

This dish is very small. It is not very deep so need to be careful how much sauce us in. I may use it for small appetizer type things. Nice to have a set of 3!

These stainless steel sauce or condiment dishes are very nice looking, have a decent weight to them, and are easy to clean. The surface is smooth with no rough edges. I would guess that they might be a bit shallow for some condiments, but they should work for most. I actually got this set of three divided dishes to put on the ground outside on the property for all the small animals, birds and insects that might be needing water this year. It's been so very dry many of the natural water sources have dried up and these dishes work wonderfully to get water to those in need.

These are made of a nice smooth stainless steel and are fairly thick. Unlike my glass dipping trays, these will not break if they get dropped. It will still make a mess but at least I do not need to worry about the glass. These tend to be a bit on the shallow side so they may not hold as much sauce as you want, but you do get three of these in the set. These are a welcome addition to the serving options in our house.

These sauce plates are great! They have a pretty good capacity, and fit and finish is very nice. They're easier to keep track of due to the size, and they won't break like ceramic ones if you drop them. Price is good.
