While I would not say installing the pedals was easy, it was not made any harder due to this product (laying on your back under the steering wheel is not the most comfortable position available). It went into place and performed as well as I believe the original equipment..

This fixed problem with acceleration hesitation where just replacing sensor did not. Easy to install.

If your F series truck hesitates to go, you get a check engine light and it goes into limp mode and then suddenly goes again with the check engine light going out. This could be your problem. These are quick to install. I bought the first replacement at O'Reilly's and it lasted maybe two years and started acting up. We'll see how long this one lasts. I'm also keeping the one from O'Reilly's and replacing just the electronic component next time. There is nothing wrong with the mechanical part and it will save me plenty of money in the future. If you have the time, just get the electronic pedal position sensor. I bought this one because I needed it for the weekend. I installed this about 10 minutes before leaving. Takes 5 to 10 minutes to install once you have tools in hand.

My 2000 7.3l Excursion stopped responding to input from the accelerator pedal. This one was an easy install and fixed my issue.

Was having an issue with idle that was fluctuating but no check engine light. Looked around and this one was half the price. Replaced old one and now my idle is back to normal

It took about 5minutes to just install it and plug my sensors in. Fast, easy, and great for the price!! Also, my 2001 F350 7.3 is up and running so it works great.

I'm a retired mechanic. My wife and son happened to be 1200 miles from home when the original parts failed on our diesel pickup. I diagnosed it over the phone then had the part sent directly to them.My wife and seven-year-old son put this in after watching a youtube video. Our son removed the defective parts and installed the new one himself (my wife had to break the bolts loose for him but that's all she did). The truck has been working great for over a thousand miles since the new part was installed.

Looks, fits, and hooks up exactly like the Ford Accelerator Pedal Assembly it replaced. Works good so far. We'll see how long it lasts.
