Always use factory parts unless you are modified, i narrowed my issue down to this part on my 89 f250 5.8l 4x4, voltage/resistance was off and was causing my truck to lope and miss, mpg’s gone, would half way stall out on the freeway, high idle, yes i checked vacuum and fuel pressure all was fine, this part fixed 98% of my issue the other issue was me not double checking timing wich solved the rest, thats what i get for taking it to a shop🤦🏼♂️
