I bought the switch for a 2001 Crown Victory. The switch looks pretty good. The new (left) and old (right) can be compared in the pictures. The stem length is vastly different between the two (about an inch). Interestingly the part numbers [IFIT-9F924-AA and XR83-9F924-AA and YL84-9F924-AA] are the same (see pictures). Note the new switch has the first serial number removed. This switch does not fit a 2001 Crown Victory.Update: I looked over several switches and bought a SW-5955, YF1Z-9F924-AB. The stem is slightlylonger (about .25") than the original but it works. See pictures with green switch.

Doesn’t fit 2003 Ford Thunderbird. Plunger is at least triple the length of O.E.
