If you need to fix a P0743 by replacing the solenoid on the valve body, this is the part you need. It is a direct replacement, and will plug into the pass thru connector at the corner of the transmission case.You may also find that your wiring is bad on the pigtail that plugs into the outside of the transmission case that connects the exposed side of the pass thru connector...that pigtail is very very hard to find, but you can cut it off this solenoid and splice it into your harness, since the internal & external plugs are exactly the same. Stinks that you have to waste and expensive part to perform this fix, but that's not the solenoid's fault.I always go with Standard Motor Products when I have the choice, they've never failed me.
