I returned these so I can’t speak to the function, but the build quality seemed pretty good but the paint/powder coating wasn’t very good. Had a lot of residue under the paint. Looked like weld spatter.

Latches keep unlatching every time you hit a small bump.. tried bending the lock only worked for a few days. Waste of money.

What can I say. It's made to improve the aesthetic characteristics of the vehicle. That's a very personal choice. I do like it. I think the quality is good and a fair value considering that. It is easy to install and adjust.Looks better than original ones for sure.

So, i only had the option to order these in Red with the intent to just paint them either black or orange to match my Jeep. I just want to say these are not red, they are more of a magenta. That aside, the hardware is solid and the latches should be able to stop any hood flutter, not that I get it from high speed driving in the Jeep but add some high crosswinds and it gets a little sketchy watching/expecting your hood to fly into your windshield.. Took off one star for color.
