Bought to sell tractor and starter broke and fell out in front of buyer. Quality of starter plastic mount is low quality and broke with torque of starter motor.

Seems like great starter. Only issue for me was the previous starter had American threads whereas this starter had metric, so that I had a challenge to find the right nuts. Tried Lowes, AutoZone and then finally found them at a hardware store that had a large repair department for many makes of equipment. As I recall I needed 5mm flange head nuts.

The starter made it past its short warranty.The bendix has stripped out and no longer turns motor over.

This stater was a great value for the price. Found out this was for a older model Kohler SV590 but, the tab that is on it is the only difference from the new type starter. Mine fit perfect but, the tab can be cut off to make it fit. Old Toro is up and running.
