I got this for my husband to use at home. I assembled it myself with ease. It has a wide base and sturdy feet. When I used it myself as a 200lbs woman, it didn’t budge even when I touched the floor with my heels while keeping my toes on the beam. Well worth the price and a good addition to any household gym

For the price, the quality of this piece is about what I’d expect. It’s functional and an improvement over a standard workout step. It does not slip thanks to the feet but due to the two piece construction I feel the middle bow right at the seam as soon as I stepped on it with only my body weight. It still works fine but I wouldn’t do anything super heavy with it. I’ve tightened the bolts as much as I could but it won’t stay straight once weight it applied.

This works pretty well overall. Seems solid and sturdy enough. There is a bit of a misalignment even after carefully holding in place while doing the screws. I would have preferred it to be one solid piece instead of 2 like it comes even if the packaging would need to be larger.I have done quite a bit on it with no issues so far so I will leave it at a solid 4 stars.

I have to laugh at some of the reviews making it sound like this will bend in half or break. It is rated for 800 lbs. I was amazed at how well built and sturdy this is. I upgraded from a wooded block to this and I am so glad I did. Assembly was a breeze. This thing is a tank . I am really happy with my purchase.

I get it - to make this cheaper to ship you’ve got to make it fit in a smaller box, but basically you’ve cut a steel platform and half and then want us to trust a few small screws to hold it together. It’s not really safe. I’m a big guy, 260, and I do calf raises with 250-300 pounds. I just would t trust this with that load. It creaked with just my body weight on it.Other issue is floor to top of the platform is really high: 4.25 inches. Standard is 3 inches. For me, this is just too tall, my heels can’t touch the floor with me holding a load on my back without over extending my calve muscles.Price is basically too good to be true, and it is.Last minor complaint is that the diamond plat stamping is like hilariously shallow and big. It’s too shallow to be functional, only aesthetic.

This was straightforward to put together for the most part. The rubber feet were a little tricky to finagle but I managed. This is sturdy, I'm not afraid it will break. I needed something to help me do exercises on different levels to help strengthen my core. This is doing the trick.

Besides being flat overly larger than needed, the biggest CRITICAL FAIL of this piece is that IT'S BENT IN THE MIDDLE where the two halves attach together.Anything that you're meant to stand on with your full body weight just shouldn't be made like a trap door attached together in the middle. This weakens the support. I'm only 5'10" tall & 205 lbs. This bar is not only made poorly but also, because of the poor design, it bends under weight. This should've been built with a solid frame piece extending the full length and attaching to both footing supports. Pictures don't lie. Attaching in the middle like this creates not only a weakness instability but also an off level wobbling to the footings. Not recommended in any way. I am returning.
