I don't normally write reviews... I am making an exception this time, probably because I am so happy Stens makes quality products. I want to let others know to be careful to only buy Stens or OEM. My solenoid went out on my Yard Machines mower. I bought another one from Amazon. It made the mower start but, after the engine started, the starter kept spinning. I bought another one and it did the same thing. To make a long story shorter, I spent 6 weeks trying to figure out what was wrong with my mower. I decided to look for a Stens brand solenoid. I put it in and it started right up and works perfectly

I had melted the starter solenoid on my ancient Husqvarna, and this replacement got me back going again. I hope its durable and lasts more than a season. Installation ease is relative to the mower, and I would have liked for it to include clearer instructions as to what wire goes where.

This part had a slightly different configuration than my original part, I thought it might just be a generic photo, but what I received was exactly like the picture. To my relief, the mounting holes were the same as my original 740207, so I merely had to re-route the battery cable and starter cables at a slightly different angle. So for that, I give it a 4 out of 5. Part works as expected.
