I purchased them in October, I put them in the freezer for a couple of days and just spread all the seeds out in that planter. I think they are growing correctly. It did take them awhile to germinate. I am wondering what kind of strawberry these are? It just says red strawberry.

I am getting worried , I planted these seeds 1/2" deep fertile soil , 65-70 degrees, plenty of water with grow lights. These strawberry seeds were planted 12-28-24. I am hoping any morning now these will pop through soil.Have since read these strawberries are VERY SLOW to germinate! Taking up to 6 weeks. WOW!! I wasnt aware of that

I am upset I waited too long for the seeds to possibly germinate and now it is too late to return the seeds. I tried these seeds twice, and both times they did not germinate. Nothing - just soil. WASTE OF MONEY!

Now that planting season has arrived in the Rocky Mountain region I opened up this pack of Organic Non-GMO Strawberry Seeds. The packet is just plain white with no images of what is inside, just a small printed label stuck onto the packet. Inside is a clear sealed packet that has no label at all but one can clearly see hundreds of tiny seeds. Of course just how many of these seeds are viable won’t be known until they actually germinate. Fingers crossed I get good yields and tasty strawberries from these seeds.

Takes them a long while to sprout in the old paper towl method but they will grow.

Process: These were not put in the refrigerator or freezer. I folded up a full paper towel and to a fourth of a square. I wet it down but not saturated. Sprinkled a lot of seeds on top. I did this for a total of six squares, putting each into a freezer bag. I sealed them completely and then cracked it open just a bit. We laid them on a big baking tray and set them on our kitchen table. Our house stays at about 67 to 68°, except the kitchen would get warmer at times when cooking. After two weeks, we begin setting it in front of a window to get a little bit of sun. A month later we now have germinated seed sprouts. Every single paper towel looks like this!

1. Most seeds come with planting instructions. These did not. They came in a foil zipper baggie with what looks like an inventory sticker on it. So if you're a first time strawberry seed planter like me, you'll have to search online for instructions/guides.2. I followed the instructions from an online strawberry growing website to the letter and I'm 29 days out with zero sprouts. Not even a hint of a sprout.3. I began the refund process, but they're requiring me to return the "unused product". I suppose I could send them a baggie of the soil I planted the seeds in, but I'm not that petty, so I'm out the $.I would not buy these again.
