I didn't get the color I ordered, but I'll live. This is an interesting concept, but it isn't what I thought I was getting. I didn't realize it would be just a bag and you provide the filling. That's my bad for not noticing. Part of me really likes that, part of me thought it would be more comfy, but that I could compact for space. My feelings are mixed. However, it will work.

OK… So these are one of the items that I had to go back and read what I got once I opened the packaging. These are the cases where the pictures on the product page tell one story, but the title states another. This is Not inflatable! I do think that the Stuffable concept is promising. We recently used it on a camping trip for my younger daughter, and used a stuffed unicorn pillow as the stuffing.I also recently used it for a business trip but found that it was not as convenient during flight as I thought it would be. Stuffing in a jacket requires a little bit more of a room at times, and the larger pillow bag might be better for an adult jacket to fit.

My wife and I are going to Australia in the spring on a very long flight. We don't like inflatable pillows, and the stuffed, bulky kind are difficult to travel with. This "pillow" is simply a zippered sack that you can pack a sweater in and have it double as a pillow. Brilliant! It's reversible, with one side being soft and the other being plastic (looks waterproof/water resistant). I guess this will prevent drool from ruining the clothes you pack inside. In any case, it looks very usable and durable. It will be going with us to Australia, for sure.

I was excited to try this travel pillow. I'm very pleased with the quality of the fabric and stitching. When traveling I can stuff my light down jacket in it with the nylon side out. To sleep on it, I flip it inside out so the gray fleece fabric is outside, stuff the jacket back in and sleep on it. I was surprised that the yellow nylon didn't make a lot of noise when used the way I described. So that is a bonus. When the fleece side is out, there is a fleece flap that sits over the zipper, so it is comfortable for my face and hands while sleeping.I ordered the small and might buy a large as well. Great product.

The small size is perfect for me. I can fill it with clothes that don't fit in my suitcase and carry it on as a travel pillow outside my suitcase. Or I can pull it out once I'm on the plane, and stuff my puffer jacket into it and have a pillow on the plane. It's designed so that the colored side (made from parachute material) is on the outside when it could get dirty. Then when you want to use it as a pillow, you flip in inside out, stuff your clothes back in, and use the soft side as your (clean) pillow case. It's well made with a strong zipper that should stand the test of time. And the bright color means I won't forget it on the plane. Ingenious. I'm very happy with this. I do suggest the seller remove the word "inflatable" from the ad as that implies something different - this is "inflatable" with clothes.

My plan for this pillow (the small yellow/gray reversible model), was to stuff it with a fleece blanket and keep it in my car. The pillow could be used all year, and the blanket could come out for naps, picnics, or winter emergencies. But even with a small blanket the pillow was overstuffed and very firm -- however on my next road trip the firm pillow was nice to use as an extra arm rest or shoulder pad (which I had no idea would be a comfy thing). And as a head pillow it was much better than nothing. The gray flannel side is soft. So, I recommend the little pillow. RIght now I have a nylon net "purse holder" stretched between the two front seats to keep my hyperactive puppy in the back and off the center arm rest. The pillow stays in the holder and has kept the dog out of the front.

I learned the trick of packing clothes for the trail in this pillow from a very experienced thru hiker. Very well made, reversible for either water resistant packing or a soft side for sleeping. Takes a bit of practice to get clothes in right arrangement for a comfy pillow, but that’s part of the experience.

It was well sewn and the fleece would feel great on a cold backpacking night but it would probably be better suited for a car trip. The yellow fabric might be too noisy for light sleepers and overall too weighty for ultralight backpacking.
