Rated lower only because it came with no installation instructions. Watched YouTube videos to finally figure it out. Hint, the longer clips go on the outside and screw into the screw slots. Product is fantastic otherwise. Didn't affect cars eyesight technology.

I almost sent this back, seemed really thin and had no directions, i finally found directions online to print out, which was annoying, they should have came with it. My husband and I got it installed, I was not to sure about the exposed screws on visor, Ive never had one with exposed screws. But it looks good, after we used a permanent marker on the screw heads to make them darker. After our last long highway trip, i have noticed that the little bumper like rubber pieces under the visor that sit against the car are coming off, they are now half way stuck to the the visor and half hanging over the edge..

Product is great. No it doesn't come with instructions, but easy enough to find. This is able to work with subaru's eye sight (that's why I've included a pic of the piece).

...I'm just gonna say it now, put a blanket or something over the engine bay so when you drop a screw, washer or one of the mounting brackets you don't have to spend all day looking for it. Easy enough to install, no directions in the box, I think because this is a dealer item. Youtube it...

First of all, there are no instructions in the box. And while I was able to locate online, it is just ridiculous to sell something like this without installation instructions. But even with instructions, the instructions are not that great. But the big disqualification is that the kit was missing parts, namely six 3M stickers that are supposed to protect the hood surface from the rubber bumpers. I had to buy my own tape from Amazon instead of waiting for the seller to reply, which took 3 days. The final product installed is okay, but I wish it covered the breadth of the hood and that the edges were a bit more refined/polished. Overall, a disappointing purchase.

As a regular DIY guy I wasn’t too upset about having to look up instructions online (yes for $80+ item they it doesn’t come with printed instructions). But I was annoyed that the first time I ordered this, I got a used product with missing screws and used sticky clip brackets you’ll know what I mean. It was a hassle to return and get the right part. Installation was moderate difficulty for someone with no patience (me) but generally not too bad. It looks good and I’m glad I have it.
