These suction cup towel hooks appear to be well made. They are lightweight which should help in keeping them mounted. Along with the suction cup feature - they also have an adhesive that should also help in keeping them mounted. They are recommended to use on a smooth surface. Unfortunately I will not be using them because the description and picture was for brushed nickel which is also what is on the package but I received black or dark brown. These will not work in my bathroom that has all brushed nickel fixtures. They are attractive and seem easy to install.

Great manufacturing quality! Sturdy product. Looks fantastic in my shower attached to my glass and tile walls. Holds my towels and robes.... I would buy them again if I had a another place to use them.

Against dark-green ceramic tiles, in a shower stall not well lit, these practically disappear. Maybe not so good if you are trying to find them to hang your back-scrubber on one, but we are using them to hold up a shelf to keep shampoo and such. They aren't supposed to be statement pieces. In a light-colored place, totally different. What you want to know is how well they adhere, and if they are humbug to put up.The steps to putting them up are simple. There's just several of them. Scrub and dry the surface, unscrew and take apart the hook. Press in place the soft disc, put the hard disc over it, cover them, and screw down the hook tight. If it stays is about 50-50 so far. Our first mistakes taught us that clean ceramic tile is not enough. It has to be glassy to the touch. Any sense of matte surface, and they will fall off in a while. So here I am, feeling all over a shower enclosure tiled in the Fifties, trying to find some in the right places that are still shiny enough to work. They need to warn us that "tile" like "wall" is really not enough of a description. I doubt they will work on matte metal or frosted glass, either.

These shower hooks are great. They stay attached for a long time. I've had only one fall from the shower wall, after several years.
