Pricey? Maybe, but it works great and wait till you hear what you’re getting. Let me state up front, I am not getting paid for this review. I paid for my you own device (PFM01) and I do not work for the company.It has performed without issue since I purchased which has been several days now. The install was so easy. You don't need to go into the sump well. You do not need to make a lot of connections and worry about positioning. It's download the app, unplug the pump, plug in the unit and then plug the sump into the unit then follow the prompts on the app. That’s it! Could not be simpler.I was delighted to see I didn’t have to redo any settings when I unplugged it to reconfigure my sump pump. It reconnected with no problem and then continued to monitor and report on its activity.I wish they would allow you to download the detail data (Date/Time/Seconds/Watts) without further charges but it sounds like they have a subscription service you have to ask about as in by sending an email to them, which I did.Support has been good. They've quickly responded to my questions. I learned they have a pretty easy to use dashboard in looker for ten dollars a month to get that detail data I want. Paul sent me a sample of MY data!The manual is well written and is available through the app which you do not pay extra. You can also download it in PDF form and if you’re like me and just want to see, you can watch the video on “how to” for the product!Over all, if you have a sump pump, you should have this product. It allows you to see how often your pump goes on, how much power it uses each time, how long it was on each time and will even tell you if/when it fails where ever you are at! That alone is worth the cost of this great product!

My first order was for the PF03 -Bought this item for my pump. Once received it was easy to set up for install using I phone. About a month later the app had an update so I installed the update and that's where my trouble began. It lost connection and I never could get it back up and running. Sent back and ordered new on and still same issue. Customer service (Paul) tried helping me with the issue but unfortunately he didn't get it to work. Bought the PFM01 model older version and working great. Would give product 5 stars when it was working but due to issues 3 stars. Customer service 5 stars for all the help.Update- Still dealing with customer service (Paul) After speaking with him their team fixed the update for the PF03 I ordered and received a new one and works great. Would very much recommend this product! Customer service very professional and will go out of their way to help.

This thing was amazing and so easy to setup. It has worked perfectly. We've had a few issues with our sump pump and they seem to always happen when we are away. Due to this we've always been a little nervous. I had leak sensors around our sump pump but that only would alert us once things are really bad.We live in Minnesota and had a big thaw two days before we were heading out of town for a trip. Our sump pump stopped working altogether. We quickly got a replacement sump pump installed and I got this so that we would have peace of mind when we were gone. It's been so nice to see when it's running. It also helped alert me to the fact our sump pump wasn't evacuating water far enough away from house due pipe issue because we started seeing it run more and more frequently. I noticed standing water at one corner of our house.

5 stars so far. This thing is pretty neat. You can set it to alert you on your phone no matter where you’re at. Monitors the health of your pump plus run times and power draw , also other settings that you can use. Better than an alarm in the basement that you would never hear. I feel better about this when not at home.

I recently moved into a new house and was curious how often the sump pump ran. I scoured the web for a solution. Purchased my first product on Amazon to do this and the software was so buggy, I returned it. Then I saw this one and decided to try it. WOW, this one was easy to connect, and the software just works, no issues. Now I can see how often the pump runs. Love it!!!!!

Deducted one star because it has no integration with a water sensor to detect a stuck float. So I have two apps to monitor my sump, one to detect the sump running too much and one to detect the sump not running enough.

The key to these kind of products is the software (apps) behind it. I have previously owned the PumpSpy and the software was so buggy I stopped using the product. The PumpFuse works very well and the software is running smoothly. Gives you a good graphical view on your phone of how often your pump is running. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this to monitor my outdoor sump pump after I happened to find the pump on its side running continuously after pulling free from the check valve. The water was pretty warm! Figured I needed some kind of monitor to warn me if it failed again.While the Pumpfuse device is not weather rated, their customer service suggested a waterproof enclosure (bought on amazon) which fits perfectly and worked well after heavy rains last night in NJ.Connection was simple and this is located outside about 30ft from my Eero router in my house.I’m finally getting some insight into the frequency and duration of my pump cycles.Only complaint is— I wish the cord was 2-3 inches longer, that would give more flexibility for mounting the enclosure next to the weatherproof outlet.
