This unit is exactly what its supposed to be; its a lightweight home use reel mower that works best when height is adjusted to the height of your lawn.I wanted a very short cut around my in ground pool. I assembled the mower in 3-min and began to mow. It will stall with an aggressive cut - take your time and bring the cut lower each pass you make untill you reach the desired height. Im happy at 1" tall and it looks great.

This is my second manual reel mower. My first one was fine but this is, I feel, a better design. The mower cuts really well. My other model has straight blades and I will say that the curved blades on this one do a significantly better job. No comparison. This mower can manage in deeper grass which is a killer for the straight blade style. Also it is nice at 20 inches. My other is 18 and it may not sound like much, but it is. This is a little bit heavier and with how much it eats at a pass it can be tough to push through the thicker stuff. But, I'm not a big person and don't have much weight to put behind it. The wheels are fairly well sealed up around the axles, and this helps keep the longer grasses from tangling up the drive, which is a huge pain if you are a little lazy and don't mow regularly.... like me. ALSO, I seriously doubted, even laughed at the grass catcher. Never thought that it would serve any purpose. I was dead wrong. I am simply amazed at how much grass it collects. Worth every penny and a great purchase. I did however just get it, so I can't say anything about how it will last.

first time owning or using a rotary mower and I'm super impressed at how well it cuts and I love that its quiet and requires no fuel to run, requires little Maintenance, though I'm sure ill have to sharpen my blades this year. Definitely suggest this mower if you looking for a cheaper alternative. sturdy and cuts excellent. it leaves a few tuffs here and there, it depends on the type of grass and the length. try not to leave it till your grass is too tall you will have a hard time cutting, otherwise great product.

Super easy to assemble, and ready to put to use. 4 wheels makes this a treat to use. Never have to worry about having gas or oil on hand and it works great!!

Received this product one day ago.Assembly.I did not take to long to assembled it. Took roughly 25mins it was pretty straightforward and simple.Weight.The product weighs just right to press down on lawn and to carry around easily.Test areaI did a simple test of my front lawn area of approximately 50 square feet. It took me about 30mins to mooer.ManeuveringThe maneuvering wasn't difficult however it I did stick a lot between small twigs and shrubs. When I came up to grass heights 1/4" or more than the selected level it sticks. Ever so often I had to readjust levels because the maneuvering got hard and the blades stuck a lot.If you're okay with adjusting a lot or passing on the same areas couple times this would work well.Suggestion not to get stuck or adjust often start at the middle level make a pass then adjust to suit the lawn or shrubs height you have.

This thing is somewhat difficult to use. You need to have some muscle to get the job done, and I'm not just saying that because it's a push mower.Due to the fact that it gets caught up on the slightest of elevation changes in the yard, it really kills your momentum and slows things down. The adjustability on the unit is not very straight forward and either side needs to be done to the same height since they are independent of one another. The wheels rolls well and the unit appears to be well put together. Grass does fly into the bag and that part of the product is very useful.Overall this product would be made a lot better if the user were able to adjust to a greater height in order to clear the average type of yard / grass. As it is, the unit gets stopped up too much to make even a $100 garage sale mower start to seem pretty enticing.

Worked for a few minutes before one of the rear height adjustment wheels fell off. Sad quality control and or manufacturing. Called Amazon about the problem, got a guy I couldn't understand and put on hold for a long time. Neighbor took it home and drilled a hole in the axle and used a nail as a lynch pin. Said he did have a washer the right size. So if you buy one of these plan on fixing it probably pretty soon. Good luck.Neighbor said bad design, to

I have a few small patches of grass, and this mower is a pleasant surprise, after reading the negative comments about it being hard to push. Of course, it takes some effort to push it, but that gives you some exercise. It's eash to push if your grass is not high. I have some very low grass, in Hawaii, and this mower is fun to push over it - - makes a beautiful cut. I also have a couple of patches of St. Augustine grass, and the mower cuts it but with a little more effort. I adjust the blade high for St. Augustine grass, and low for the Hawaiian grass.Assembly is very easy. The mower is lightweight, compared to powered mowers. The mower has a small footprint for storage, and the handle easily comes off if you need that.My yard guys were charging me too much to cut my grass. This mower pays for itself in one cutting. On top of all this, I like the green paint. It's a beautiful color. You will want to show it off.
