I love this blanket. If I have one complaint, it would be the cleanig of the blanket. It is not dryer friendly and is hard to launder. Generally, you need a commercial machine to wash it and somewhere large to spread it out to dry.On the pro side, it is very warm and from November on to March, I use it to warm the bed before getting in. My husband has neuropathy and the heat is wonderful for his feet.It certainly gets warm enough for us both. The temp of the bedroon in the winter is usually around 59, and I usually don't put it above 3. My husband uses it on4-5. It is easy to manage with other heated things we use (heated mattress pad) and I recommend it to anyone.

This heated mattress cover enables you to warm each side of the bed or not to twenty levels. My husband's preference is between 8 and 12, while mine is typically a full 20!We both enjoy cozy sleep-filled nights again. The only problem is that I too often dream during the day about getting back to my bed!I have not had the blanket for long -- a couple of months -- so let's hope that it lasts a very long time. I use it constantly. As for the concept of a heated mattress cover vs. heated blanket, I have used both now but clearly prefer the mattress cover, as the blanket will travel if you are married to someone who may hog covers from time to time. The mattress cover stays put.Everyone over 50 should have this!

We’ve had Sunbeam heated mattress pads for several years. I like that this one has more settings thus more incremental levels of warmth. Plug at the bottom is smaller than our last one. The plug has never bothered me, but some people complain about it (feeling it). The quilted material is mid-range in terms of cushion, but I’m not buying it for padding so it just fine. The only (small) downside is the control light is very dim. Not a huge deal for me, but I’ve had others that were easier to see both in daylight and at night. We’ll see how long it lasts, but in general we’re happy with it.

The mattress warms quickly and is safe and dependable when in use. The surface feels luxurious andadds comfort beneath the bottom sheet. So soft and cozy. I have purchased a second one for an additionalbed.

This heated mattress pad is very soft and gets very warm... When you can get it to actually work. Constantly get F2 error message, which after googling I found out means that the unit isn't getting enough power. It says the unit must be plugged into a regular wall outlet, not a power strip or extension cord. I have tried it in 2 different outlets near my bed. Sometimes it works, most of the time I get the error. How can there be enough power one time, but not the next?? Makes no sense. The previous heated mattress pad I had lasted over 10 years. Spend your money on a different brand.

Purchased this heated mattress cover because we live up north and winters are pretty bitter. Years ago we had an electric blanket and you could feel the wires in that thing so I was skeptical about this one. When we opened it I felt around inside and sure enough, could feel a wire. We placed it on the bed expecting to send it back because of the wires. The first night proved me wrong and I dont know how we lived without em. For the live of me I cannot feel the wires on the bed now that it is installed. The ability to do the pre-warmup is a nice touch and I find I dont want to get out of bed in the morning LOL. everyone up north needs one of these things!

This is a very nice product and I'd give it five stars but for a couple things. The connection from the controls to the pad itself are at the foot of the bed, which is almost universal in my experience, but unlike most pads and blankets, the attachment is not on the "apron" that overlaps the end of the mattress, but actually on top of the mattress. Mine is a queen size, so the bed is plenty long, but during the night, my feet will encounter the lump that is the connection point and that annoys me. The pad has a very nice stretchy apron which makes it easy to tuck the pad around the mattress even when the mattress is fifteen or sixteen inches thick (when will the mattress expansion war end???). The apron material is not firm enough to support the electric attachment, but there is no reason they could not have made the center area of the apron of a different material so that the connections could be supported over the end of the mattress and let me not encounter the "lump" during nocturnal stretches. The Preheat is great, but I think it stays on too long. It is early in the season, so maybe later in the year I'll enjoy having the PH stay on for a while. As it is, I must turn the pad OFF and then turn it back ON in order to reset the PH (Preheat). I haven't timed it, but I'll typically read for a while when I first get into the bed. By the time I turn off the light, I think the pad should have reached some point of normal operation, but it has not and it is too hot for me to leave the PH engaged. The dual controls are nice. This one has ON/OFF, Auto Off Select, Preheat, and large "-" and "+" to select temperature (twenty levels!). The instructions are clear about which control goes on the left and which on the right (although left and right is as seen standing at the foot of the bed). You can't change the left and right, but there is no need for that. Neither side is "boss." The sides are totally independent. For less than $100 delivered in Queen size with dual controls, even with the lump at the foot, this is a good deal. Highly recommended.
