The sun absolutely bangs but after about 15 hours the voice coil popped on a 1000 rms amplifier and I know the sundown can handle so much more than that and the first one I got shipped had a already blown coil in it and was popping straight out the box in free air test pretty disappointing that a 500 dollar sub only last about 15 hours of playing time

When I bought this sub I wanted the most bass for the little bit of space I had and this sundown audio U series 12 D2 did not let me down. This sub is loud low and the sound quality is out of this world. People that ride in my car think that I have a pair of 12s until I open the drunk, very solid subwoofer.
