Let me start by saying had this worked right out of the box it would have received 5 stars. I am pretty sure the problem I had was a one off but anyone else would have returned it. The problem was when hooked up, no air would come out of either coupler. I tried several different tools and hoses with no luck. I finally decided it was time to see what was up. Upon disassembly the problem was very apparent. It was missing the holes to allow air to move from the main body to the couplers. This was missed during the machining process. The fix was not too complicated. I flat filed a spot in the air grove so I could center punch and drill. The material was relatively soft so the file and drilling process was easy with a drill press. I started with a 1/8" and stepped up to 3/16" I drilled clear through giving each side 2 holes. I then deburred the holes and after a quick clean up it went back together to complete the testing. I like the design. Simple but effective. Each coupler swings independent from the other and everything seals with standard O-rings. If a leak was to occur it would be simple to service. Once back together everything worked great. It was able to connect with the standard I/M fittings on most contractor tools. It was also able to connect properly to my Milton style A mechanic tools. Since it didn't work right out of the box I did have to take one star away.Pros:Serviceable O-ring seals.Independent pivots.Universal compatibility.Cons:Didn't work right out of the box.

This is a great heavy duty splitter. I was impressed with the heft of the item, it really feels heavy duty and solid. The mechanism is nice how it works, you don't really have to pull back the ring to insert a hose, it just pushes in. Time will tell how this works long-term, but currently it comes across as really smooth operating and fun to use with less hassle. I'm going to be hooking it up to my compressor so we can run more than one tool at once. Should be really nice to keep from swapping hoses etc. However, due to the weight of the item I will probably put a short hose inbetween this and my compressor as I don't want the weight of this pulling down on the compressor connection. Overall a great quality item and happy to recommend.

Price on par with everyone else. Seems to be build strong. Worked fine and was quick easy installation. No leaks noticed. Needed a splitter and this was it.

I mainly use an air blow-off gun and tire inflator with my air compressor. Seems like I always need the one not connected to my garage air compressor and have to make my to the air compressor to pick up the one needed. Now, with this splitter and an additional air hose, I can easily use either while working on one of my projects. I also have the option of using one air hose on one side of my garage while running the other air hose to my workbench on the other side of the garage. This air line splitter has already saved me quite a bit of time. Works well, no leaks!

Perfect splitter for my compressor.I have one air hose on a reel and wanted another plug at the back of the garage.This installed in seconds and does what I needed.Now I don't need to trip over air hoses laying all over my garage.Very well made and should last a long time as I'm only a weekend warrior.This is a great product for the price!

Thicc, heavy duty, air supply splitter. I have owned my little Craftsman oil-lubricated and cooled 3-gallon air compressor for over 20 years now. She's a bit overbuilt and has never let me down. Newer, lighter, air-cooled portable compressors are a little easier to move around, but lack the ability to run more than 50% of the time without overheating. My old Craftsman can run a framing or roofing nail gun all day without issue. I don't do nearly as much construction work as I once did, so my little compressor mostly sits under my workbench in the garage airing up tires or running a blow gun. I decided to add a splitter so I could have a dedicated hose for the kids to air up car and bike tires. This Sungator splitter was ideal. It's beefy enough and has multiple axis pivot points to handle the bouncing and flexing from rubber hoses jostled around by my kids. I've also enjoyed having a dedicated hose for my own use. If your compressor is large enough to run two tools at a time, or you have the extra space and just want the convenience of dual hoses, this splitter is the solution.
