It is not serving string but it is unknown string with unknown properties. Edit: I just did a 10 ply Flemish twist for a 40# recurve bow. I did it 5 " shorter than AMO and it gave me the correct brace height. I accidentally made to few passes when preparing the string and I made adjustments.It is a slow string with some stretch. It will make a self bow feel smother than FF or D97. I am guessing it is a B50 type string.
