Maybe not a lot to say about a rim strip. It's simple and it does the job.

This strip is pretty thin, thinner than the OEM strip I was replacing. It has held up through a couple of rides on my road bike. I don't use the bike much so I can't speak to it's durability yet. I would definitely find a thicker strip if you ride a lot and expect to go over curbs/bumps. For road bikes and casual riders this will probably get the job done.

These are basic rim liner strips that are sized correctly and appear to be made of quality rubber. The seam where they are fused is solid and secure, and the valve stem hole is correctly sized and located. The rubber is a good thickness for protecting the tube, but not overly thick and heavy. For simple everyday rim liners under $3, these were a great deal.

I used these rim strips to replace the original wheel strips on my Raleigh SC200 hybrid bike. They worked well on installation and riding is very smooth. They definitely protect the tube from the wheel, much better than the original strips. I would definitely buy these again.

I bought this to replace the original rim strip in my 20 year old Raleigh. It is wider than the one I had but still fit with no problem, being wider gives it a little more strength where the hole is for the valve stem. This is where my original failed so this one should last even longer. I couldn't really ask for much more.

Great inner tube rim liner, purchased with a great tube and tire. I am happy with both. At first I thought this tube is way to large for my rim. I replaced three tires and three inner tubes. The secret is to LIGHTLY inflate the tube, and then gently put it on the rim. Then put on the tire. If the tube has too much air in it, then again LIGHTLY deflate to the desired point. It should go on without a hitch. Also, I used a paint can lid opener (the one with the bottle cap opener at the opposite end) to take the tire off of the rim, and to get the new tire onto the rim. The paint can opener is free at most hardware stores, including Home Depot.

These rim strips work great and have a good bit of talcum powder for preapplication. I have them doubled-up for added protection from the spokes and rim and they fit great. The pre-formed hole for the valve also seems to fit snuggly on the schrader valve which is great to reduce non-slipping and wearing of the strip.

This is an OEM rubber rim strip. Nothing fancy, and not meant to stop flats, just meant to go into the groove of the metal rim so that the spoke nipples won't poke through to your tube. If your spokes are too sharp or protruding too far, this isn't going to stop the end of the spoke from possibly puncturing your tire- you will probably have to sand down the spoke end a tiny bit. Overall, I am satisfied with the rimstrip. It is what usually is found on a bicycle. If you want a better rim strip, but at an increased cost, by some Velo rim strip tape. In fact, I have put Velo rims trip tape on top of these types of plain rubber rim strips with no problems. If you are replacing a tire and your rim strip is hard and crunchy, this is a good cheap replacement, though.
