Bought this over 3 years ago and it’s been one of my favorite things ever. I lost the parts in a move recently, and customer service was so friendly and easy to deal with in letting me purchase replacement parts. Free shipping and all. Highly recommend. Very sturdy.

So glad I got this! It’s pretty big, even the base on the floor comes really far out. And it’s too tall to fit in my house (have 7.5ft ceilings) so it’s not mobile, but worth it!!Comes w/ 4 rubber pieces to put along the base to hold it steady (in 3rd pic). Very sturdy doesn’t wiggle a bit when any of us get on it, & easy to assemble, I love this thing!

Updated: The customer service team is excellent, and while I received a defective unit, they worked quickly and efficiently to remedy it in the easiest way possible for me.Original---I believe I received a defective unit. It the instructions it says all 4 feet must lay flat on the floor for it to be safe. A pole is bent or a hole is drilled wrong because it’s impossible for all 4 to lay flat on my unit. It rocks side to side and tips over.

This stand was super easy to assemble and it works great. It looks smaller and less substantial in the pics, but in person it's quite big and sturdy. Everyone in the family competes to sit in the hammock chair and it feels very comfortable and secure. The only downside is that you can't swing very far back because the swing hits the stand, but I remedy this by turning the chair sideways and (gently) swinging back & forth that way.

My first package arrived with box and interior packaging intact. However once opening and removing packing material and bubble wrap, this was clearly a used and badly mistreated item. Every single individual piece had deep scratches, gouges right through the clear coat and paint to the bare metal. It looked like some tried to disassemble with hammer and chisel. In this condition the stand would be showing rust in no time and its longevity would be reduced. Reached out to Amazon for an exchange, which Amazon refused, return+refund only and repurchase at higher +$150 price because the item was now sold out in Canada. Reached out to seller who stepped in to exchange the defective item when Amazon "customer service" would not. The replacement product arrived in a very beat-up box, but perfectly intact inside - no damage to any of the components. The swing stand is exactly as described can be used with pretty much any Hammock chair. It is easy to assemble and love the height adjustment - allows for fine tuning the height to a position everyone can use. (Our family ranges 6’/195lbs to 4’10/90lbs) so it took some tweaking to find the sweet spot. Great addition to the deck, everyone in the family loves it.

After moving to a condo I had nowhere to hang my hammock chair and most similar frames are too short. This one adjusted up a few settings is perfect! And could still go a little higher. I don’t find it tippy at all so not sure if those that do are not actually on flat ground or throw themselves into it?? Only downside is the base does take up a lot of space so you do need a fairly large space for it.

I have a hammock in my living room. My boyfriend put it in the ceiling and it held for some time but eventually fell. Our friend was hurt by the steel bar that goes across the top. We decided that was not going to work so I bought this stand. It is strong. Holds either of us plus our Labradoodle likes to join me sometimes adding additional weight. I’d guess the max we have had at one time was around 265lbs and it didn’t budge. Didn’t feel unsteady or like it would topple over. He swings, spins, and leans forward constantly and the stand does not move! Worth every penny!! It is large but I have a “poof” that we use as a footrest and it sits inside the bottom bar nicely. Makes it look smaller and less awkward. I highly recommend this stand. You can easily move it outside too. The adjustable height is great. Our ceiling in the new house is lower than it was in the apartment when I purchased the stand. That was a huge bonus because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to use it in here. Fit perfectly with plenty of room to swing underneath. No butt rash from the carpet! :)

The hammock chair stand is exactly as described. It took my husband and I about 10 minutes to set up.The diagram lists all included parts and how they fit together,It was very easy to understand. And adjusting the height is easy as well.I have a hammock chair just like in the photo and can sit comfortably and swing slightly.I never feel unbalanced or afraid it might topple. It is extremely sturdy! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the packaging arrived very beat up.It had black grease marks on the outside like it had been run over with some tires. And part of the box was completely ripped open. But the parts on the inside are individually wrapped so nothing was damaged or missing. This is a great stand for the price and I would definitely recommend it!

Work alright. Sturdy enough to hold my husband who is nearly 300lbs. Easy to assemble and come with several different bits of hanging hardware to accomodate whatever hammock style you are using. A little tippy if you're not careful and they pull apart when moving them. We have two of them in our back yard which has a slight slope. If the base is on too much of a downslope, you will tip over when you sit down (and it doesn't have to be all that much of a slant). Would be great on a cement or brick patio that is perfectly level. I like to move to different areas depending on if I want sun or shade and it's always a little awkward to slide around due to the design. The poles fit together nicely but do not lock into place. If you grab the poles at a comfortable hight and drag them, they pull out of the bottom, so you have to bend over and grab them lower down and walk bent over, dragging them behind you. They're not heavy, so it's not that big a deal and maybe other people wouldn't move them around as much as I tend to. I probably wouldn't be these again and would look for a better design.

It was easily to assemble, and it dissambles even more quickly for easy storage. The instructions weren't very clear or helpful at all because it's a just an expanded diagram of the completed stand, so it serves basically as a "what should be included" page. I was able to search for the assembly instructions online in just a few clicks and printed them out to keep.It is surprisingly steady on its base. At first, I couldn't enjoy sitting in it because I seriously felt like I would fall (more so because of my skills at assembling home furniture than because of anything the stand did to me). I put couch cushions on the floor beneath me until I felt secure that the thing wouldn't snap at a joint and drop me directly onto my tailbone. Now, I don't bother with the couch cushions on the floor because I know it was snap or bend. It's NOT marketed or designed to be used as a kid's toy swing or an adult toy swing, if you know what I mean. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. But it held up just fine for the adult purpose. The person not sitting in the chair, can place their feet on the base of the stand to provide a counter-weight/balancing weigh to prevent it from sliding or feeling like it might tip from any movement in the chair hanging from the stand. One could also have a friend stand on the base while you sit in it to help make you feel more steady and secure as you easy down into the seat and let the stand and the hanging chair slowly take on your weight. Now that I'm familiar with it, I can assemble it in under 5 minutes and take it down in even less time. I store the pieces behind a dressing mirror or dresser drawer so the metal rods are out of sight. Each individual rod is light enough for me to carry one handed, so it's not too cumbersome. It's an affordable, decent alternative to many of the other stands I've seen out there. I like it and I would buy it again.
