I tried, but it was just to much for me. I am a pretty good mechanic, but taking this steering gear and rebuilding it, i just didnt trust it as putting it back in was a lot of work to find out i messed up. I ended up getting a new rebuilt one for a couple hundred bucks. unless you have help, or you have the truck down to the frame might consider doing what i did. This kit requires a lot of time and work.
