Your cart is empty.The SunTouch sensor wire is designed to work with SunStat thermostats providing accurate sensing of the floor temperature for electric under floor heating systems. The low profile sensor is designed to be embedded in mortar so the thermostat can turn on and off for the floors to reach desired temperature. The SmartStart technology is able to detect changes in the floor temperature and adjust so your floor is always at the desired level. This is a direct replacement for the senor wire included with SunStat thermostats.

While running a new electrical branch in a wall I damaged my original sensor wire. We have a basement, so I have access to the floor from below. I notched out a small section of subfloor (about 1/4" x 1.5"), glued the replacement sensor into the notch, and ran the wire back to the original control. The floor is working great again.

Bought this as a “backup” sensor for a warm wire installation. The sensor wire is a duplicate of the sensor received from warm wire and is in 5he floor should the first sensor 3ver fail. Cheap insurance.
