This set of sushi candles makes a fun gift for sushi lovers. It is beautifully packaged and includes three pieces of salmon sushi, exactly as shown in the picture. As someone who works with wax, I can attest that these candles are well-crafted for the price point. If you want a more realistic option, expect to pay more, as working with wax can be challenging. These candles are the size of actual pieces of sushi and are designed as tea candles, so they don't have much burn time. However, I can't imagine anyone wanting to burn something so adorable. I see these as decorative pieces instead.

I have seen much better quality food looking cndles than these. They were not particularly realistic looking which was disappointing. I bought them as a white elephant gift and honestly I wouldn’t use them for any other type of gift. They are fun but I really didn’t think they were very good candles. The price was a bit high for what you are getting as well.

I found these and I had to get them for my daughter, as soon as she got them she loved them. She even said she doesn't want to lite them because she's never seen them anywhere before. They look great, and very unique.

These are such a cute little gift idea. They are tealight size so they fit most tealight holders. They are scentless and burned a normal amount of time. I didn't time it but it didn't seem like they burned any faster or slower than other tealights. The sushi art itself isn't super realistic. It looks like they were painted with a brush so it's gives off a little more DIY vibe than realistic. But it's still super cute. I like that the box slides out like a match box so it feels more similar to buying sushi versus a standard box. The packaging overall made it feel nice and giftable. So even though it wasn't super realistic, it also didn't seem like a cheap thing either.

I gave them to my coworker for a holiday gift, and she loved them. They do look exactly like little pieces of sushi and they gave us a great laugh. Really cute for an anime fan, a Japanese culture fan, or a foodie. Just cute and whimsical and a perfect "little happy" for anyone.

I bought these as the handmade beeswax sushi candles were going to arrive later than I thought. I must not have looked at review photos. These are the worst looking candles I have ever seen. My kids could have carved and painted these better. They look like someone chiseled a soy votive candle and slapped paint on it. The wicks were also all smashed. Yikes!
