The suture pad is awesome. We got this for my daughter who is very interested in becoming a vet and she loved being able to practice stitches/knots on something that really felt and closed up like skin. Love it!

I am a student who used this to practice sutures for a rotation in surgery. It is obviously nothing like real skin but still helpful for practicing the technique - my only complaint is that you have to be very gentle when pulling sutures through or else the string easily rips through the gel but that is to be expected with any product like this. I liked that it is small enough to easily fit in any bag.
