Greatest invention since the wheel. Saves a tremendous amout of time connecting fittings on 1/4 inch drip line instalations. Made of metal and heavy gauge material similar to plumbing tools. Not lightweight garden tool. Highly recommend. Huge savings in time and frustration.

The end opposite of the 1 in the tube opens up ALOT, taking ALL the force away from expanding the tube, so it BARELY puts any force towards opening the tube: either mine is broken or this useless.

Seems to be well made, but time will tell. You must start by inserting the tool and slowly squeezing while working around the entire pipe multiple times. I suggest practicing on scrap pipe. Not meant for hard copper, don't try. Rubber grips and/or more ergonomic handles would be nice.

Very sturdy material and easy to hold, I actually used it to enlarge one side of a 1/2 inch diameter curtain rod. Although it took a little effort for connection two tubes, but the finished effect is very good.
