Great ladder but do not count on the notice to help you figure out how to mount it. Also 3 screws were missing and one was not the right size......

Easy to assemble and seem to be sturdy, but I am a little concerned that the step’s being smooth metal may be slippery when wet. Using for my hot tub.

I've never written a product review before, good or bad, but I would have given this ladder zero stars if that was an available option. To start, the directions are terrible. Each part is conveniently labeled with an item number, unfortunately, the assembly picture is crazy small and doesn't include those item numbers so it's up to you to figure out which part goes where. Since there are 3 different length bolts this can be a little tricky. Of course in my case the item 9 bolts weren't included in the parts kit, so that was a little easier for me. Also not included was item 13, whatever they are. They also don't provide an Allen wrench or tool to hold the nuts, so hopefully you've saved those from the other kits you've assembled. The nuts are not self-locking and they will loosen over time.

I needed steps in a hurry and these arrived quickly. They were easy to assemble and are inexpensive Ky priced. However, the stairs are not very sturdy- it feels like they would support *maybe* the 400 lb rating but 401 lbs would be too much. The handrail is also easy to assemble but is not very sturdy and wiggles a bit.All in all, these are good steps for a low price but aren’t super strong.
