I have been using this epoxy for atleast 13 years. I have had some mishaps with it but most of them were because I failed to measure accurately. I use it almost exclusively in my woodworking. It does have slight amber tint, but most of the time I can live with it. I always use it with the fast hardener. The price has steadily increased as everything else has, but I can depend on this stuff.

I've used System 3 epoxy resin for years and it has had a consistent quality. I mostly have used it for interior build-out of my sailboat. Great for sealing edges of plywood and attaching bulkheads to fiberglass hulls using biaxial tape. Re-coats can take place over a 2 to 3 day without sanding. Wiping amine blush off with a damp rag before re-coating or sanding is recommended. For exterior use it should be painted as sunlight will tend to degrade it.

i've used System Three on/off for a decade. They make high quality resins and less pricey than West System. Very easy to mia and always kicks and hardens as expected. Seems tolerant to slight variations in mix ratio. Basically foolproof.

I have used this product before to build kayaks and it is great. Strong bonds. Amber colour adds to the beauty of the wood if you ask me. Three stars only because I had to pay a steep express shipping cost, it arrived at the depot on the very last day. I had to suspend working on the project (wet on wet) and no if I did not spend 2 hours picking up the package it was not delivered on time.

I use this epoxy so much that I now leave it in my tool bucket, and I take the bucket everywhere. This epoxy mixes easily; I've never had a sticky spot after it dries. I got the fast hardener and it still works good for wood projects. Easy to work with and has a strong bond. The 2:1 mixture is easy to measure accurately. 2 part epoxies will always be stronger than bottled glue, so I recommend this product if you really need a good bond I first thought the price was high, but after comparing total cost it is priced same as competitors.

I'm building a Pygmy Coho wood kayak and didn't want to come up short on epoxy when I got to glassing the hull and deck. I ordered this 1.5 gallon kit. I read other reviews of folks complaining about the quality of the resin and hardener not performing up to par. I called System Three tech support and asked about the particular model number listed (0102K46) which didn't happen to match the original product I got with my kayak kit. The System Three tech guy assured me not to worry. He was right. I have not had one bit of problems with it. My kayak is looking good and getting closer to completion day by day. I'm happy with this purchase.

Good stuff. Doesn't set up so rapidly you can't get everything done in time. In a mold, it did set up quicker than a usage with more exposure to the air. I have used some talcum powder and some mineral make up (wife didn't like it anymore) for different colors, as well as wood flower. (got it from the sander bag) These colorants have caused no problems with the cure process.
