So I was a bit lazy and broke a rule while working on our car- used the impact wrench to install a bolt, thus cross threading it. I ordered this set right away and had the hole fixed by the end of the next day! Quality appears good and it did what I needed!

Worked flawlessly for a caliper bracket in which the old factory bolt had a major burr damaging the threads on removal. Cleaned the threads easily, and still looked solid afterwards (was a little nervous based on other reviews). The small supplied case is perfect for storing in the toolbox as well. Definitely recommend as an emergency backup, will update based on use and performance.Total uses 1 as of 9/9/2023

I needed this for only one issue. The steering arm on my old riding mower could not be adjusted due to bad threads both female and male. I cut off about 3/8 inch of the steering arm, re-threaded it with the die, and re-threaded the female with the tap and reassembled the arms. By making the arms shorter I was able to adjust the wheels and make them point in the same direction instead of cross eyed. The tap and die worked perfectly for this one need. Since it was single use for me (so far) I don't know real quality or longevity of the tools. Therefore the four instead of five star.

Needed to chase thread on motorcycle crankshaft as the 'correct' puller managed to squash the end a bit.Die worked as needed, only used once.
