My original jug fell off the counter and broke, had to buy a new one. I liked that it was a different material/design on the top plastic lid, could have been an update since I first bought my moccamaster. Nonetheless happy with the quality and speed of delivery. If you need a replacement or want and extra one just in case best to go with this! And cheaper than buying from their own website

This is an exact replacement of the Moccamaster carafe. After years of using my Moccamaster, some of the plastic on the handle had chipped off and caused the lid to no longer stay on. I purchased this replacement carafe and my Moccamaster is looking brand new again! This is easily my favorite appliance, so I get happier than I should when I walk into the kitchen and see my Technivorm looking like new again. The product is what I was looking for! Restore it to the original.

Broke my Moccamaster carafe. I was heartbroken. Didn’t want to do without coffee the next morning so I ordered a new one and had it delivered overnight. It is just like the original. It fit right into the space where the coffee drips into the carafe. Same quality as original. Very happy with this purchase.

As most people have said, this is the thinnest glass ever. For such an expensive coffee maker, this is the cheapest thing in the world. Also, the top part comes off so easily its insane. The one that came with the coffee maker was not like that. I'm also super gentle with the handle as I've read other reviews saying it can come off. I usually hold it by the glass when I clean it.If this breaks, I'm buying some other sturdier one and just using the top that this comes with.Side note: The coffee isn't much better than other coffee makers. :(

I was very surprised to find a chip on the edge of the spout of my coffee carafe the first day I used it. I live alone, so no one other than me used the carafe. Very weird that a carafe made for high temps would chip immediately. I wish I wouldve looked it over before I used it for the first time. I thought these carafes were made of a pyrex like material.. which would make it quite durable. I guess not. Just good info to know.. if you order anew carafe, look it over very well before you use it. By the way, my original carafe was replaced due to the plastic band around the carafe loosening to the point it would not hold the lid, and the prong on the lid wore down.. so the lid would not stay on, but it took a couple years of daily use to do so.
