The EgoNova tennis dampener works fine but the design just misses the mark. If it was just a little shorter or a little longer it would probably work better. 4 strings are fully interwoven into slots but the 5th and 6th outside strings don't touch the silicone (see photo). As a result the dampener tends to slide down the strings during play. I tried it on 3 different rackets just to see if maybe 1 racket was strung incorrectly, but the same result holds true for all 3 rackets.If the ends overlapped the outside strings I think the problem would be solved.Decent product but not flawless.

Although unlike the round small dampeners this doesn’t fly off and become missing, it keeps sliding down. When it slides down, the dampening effect is less.

This racket dampener is a bit more stable than traditional dampeners, kind of acting like a more fixed up form of the classic rubber band. If you have some trouble putting it on, there is an image on the product page that gives a good recommendation on how to put the dampener on. Overall works well to remove the ping sound without losing the dampener like a lot of smaller ones.

This Tennis Racket Dampener stays securely in place on the strings, making it less likely to be lost. I previously used round dampeners that attach to two strings, but they would often fall off when a shot was mishit or if the dampener was struck, sometimes becoming impossible to find. This dampener has solved that issue, freeing me from the frustration of losing them. It also does a great job of absorbing vibrations, providing a smoother playing experience. I'm very satisfied with this product and will update if any issues arise in the future.
