I was disappointed with the quality of the poles. They did not hold up well in windy conditions, with one of them breaking and the other not providing enough grip to stay in position. I would not recommend this product to others who need a reliable and sturdy support system for their outdoor gear.

Ordered four telescoping poles to use with tarp when camping. Long wait to receive. Came with a bag as expected. Bottom of poles expected to have rubber caps. Very important as poles are thin walled composite. Two poles arrived with intact caps. One cap was loose. One cap totally missing. Chatted with Amazon Customer Service. Can't get a replacement. Soooo, I purchased better, more rugged caps for less than $5.00 and installed. Tighter fit and better all around. Problem solved. This illustrates a problem one risks when buying from Amazon rather than manufacturer or regular distributor. Be aware.

Great value. I use this on my van and it’s a good alternative to a permanent awning.

I purchased these to use as support for my custom-made canopy that is attached to my vintage camper. Everything about this set is very good quality except for the stakes....They are pretty short and too flimsy in my opinion. The poles are super nice, easy to adjust with plenty of height for any application. I would definitely buy again but would order different stakes to go with the set.

Purchased the fiberglass poles to use as a winter rain awning for a small travel trailer. They are impressive is their build, finish, and ability to take stress. I put them under stress with higher than I would expect tension. The intent was to see how they would bend. The give was very little and I was more concern that the rain fly might tear from this. Shortly after I put it in this condition there were several gusts of wind that I estimate to be near 30 mph. The fly was moving and the poles stayed in place with enough give to take up the load. The poles were extended to the maximum length though this would likely not what would be normally used. The adjustments are quick and secure. I hope to provide an update after a winter season of camping. This will including mostly rain with some light snow (Pacific Northwest region).
