Great lantern. You’ll need to get extra mantles, the one that it comes with is defective.

Took it camping with us this past weekend. We are avid campers in the spring and summer months. We've used and owned many lanterns. Was disappointed with this 1. First time lighting it the Mantle Burnt Up in seconds.

This is about as basic as a lantern gets. Works well and without issue however I recommend purchasing extra mantles at the same time. The mantle that came with this lantern was defective and opened up at the bottom on first use.

Works great ! Lantern came as described ,no problems !I have used this lantern many times already ! Be sure and keep extra lantern mantles on hand just in case the lantern falls over ,it will most likely damage the mantle .
