This product is just a regular whistle shaped like a dog whistle. It is not a high pitch whistle like you would expect when searching for a dog whistle.

Ich habe zwei Labbi's, die ich auf diese Pfeife konditiiniert habe. Dazu findet man auch Anleitungen in Youtubeoder einfach einen Hundetrainer fragen. Gerade wenn die beiden mal am toben sind, ist das die beste Möglichkeit sie sofort zurück zu rufen. Da ich selbst nicht pfeifen kann, habe ich mir diese Pfeife geholt. Sie klingt immer gleich, was es den Hunden erleichtert darauf zu reagieren. Sie ist auch sehr robust. Ich hänge mir die Pfeife morgens um den Hals und nehme sie abends wieder ab. Die zweite habe ich nur für meinen Mann bestellt, damit er auch eine hat, wenn er mal mit den beiden unterwegs ist.

Die Pfeife habe ich bestellt, weil unsere Hundetrainerin uns eine Pfeife anstelle des RückRUFs ans Herz gelegt hatte. Also ins Internet und ein bisschen gestöbert. Nachdem ich ein paar Rezensionen gelesen hatte, ist die Wahl auf diese hier gefallt. Und bisher habe ich es nicht bereut. Wir hatten vorher eine Pfeife mit Ultraschall. Die war natürlich für die Umwelt wesentlich leiser und unauffälliger. Für meinen Hund aber scheinbar leider auch. Der hat zwar manchmal geschaut und versucht rauszufinden, woher dieses Geräusch kam, aber wirklich so richtig interessiert hat es ihn nicht.Diese Pfeife ist wirklich absolut zu hören. So kann auch ein Hund, der wirklich mal abgerückt ist, diese Pfeife hören (zumindest theoretisch). Die Farbe gefällt mir auch sehr gut und durch das mitgelieferte Band zum umhängen, hat man sie beim spazieren auch immer schnell zur Hand.Alles in allem wirklich empfehlenswert. Wir werden diese wieder bestellen, sollten wir noch weitere benötigen oder unsere „alte“ kaputt gehen
