Works well keeping thumb mobile during sleep. Velcro is holding up well very comfortable since it’s adjustable

Works well to support my thumb during daytime, not as cumbersome as my full wrist and thumb brace that I wear at night. I like that I can adjust it as my thumb swells then goes down. Would recommend.

I suddenly acquired uncomfortable and limiting "trigger thumb." The specialist can't see me for three weeks, so I'm left to find temporary interventions to help me get through until then.First, I tried a wrist-anchored thumb brace. It was effective, but large and cumbersome. So I wanted to find something smaller that would allow me more movement while still holding that knuckle in place.I tried just wrapping the knuckle with self-adhesive elastic bandage material. It helped fairly well, but I had to wrap it tight to immobilize the knuckle, which quickly became uncomfortable. The next device I tried was the "oval-eight" plastic knuckle splint. Once I found the right size, I was disappointed to find that it wasn't able to keep my knuckle from moving. That's when I stumbled upon these Anhogeu Velcro Finger Splints. So much better! These finger splints are easy to use, and adjustable for a perfect fit. They're much more comfortable for long-term wear than any of the other solutions I tried. You have to be careful not to adjust them too tight, but you don't have to. The metal strap inside makes it possible to lock the knuckle in place without too much pressure. They're easy to remove and put back on when you need to wash your hands or do something else with the splint off.The first one I put on has lasted five days, and the Velcro is just starting to fail. I've already bought another package, because I think I'm going to need these for a few weeks, at least. I'm so glad I came across these little gems! I highly recommend these finger splints for anyone who needs to immobilize a knuckle on a finger or a thumb.
