Welders love goatskin for its soft and high flame resistance.They'll get the lightweight feel and protective level needed for low-flame TIG environments.

  • Intra-FIT welding gloves offer properties needed for TIG welding and plasma cutting applications, providing maximum smoothness, strength, and high flame resistance. Ideal for Welding works, Mechanical work, Light Construction, ect.

  • Typically, goatskin is used as the primary leather in TIG gloves since it has a terrific feel. As a thinner material it allows greater mobility, and in some cases you are able to pick up rods or do other works without having to first switch gloves.

  • Nomex is a brand of fiber that manages to be lightweight yet effectively protect from heat while being flame-resistant. Firefighters are well-known for wearing Nomex, although the benefits extend to other trades (like welding!).

The gloves are made of goat skin but there is no nomex backing or liner in the entire glove only that maybe of the nomex material is the stitching as the nomex deteriorated when I had water dropped on it which was the threading those durability they tore within 2 days of use good heat resistance though and they're very comfortable but very low durability.

These are great gloves. Not the most durable I’ve used, but they fit the hand great and are very comfortable. They’ll let you know if your work is too hot.
