I had this remote for about a month and a half, and it was working fine until I had to charge it. It charged just fine, but the charge will only last about a 1/2 hour to an hour before it dies again. I've tried charging it several times and each time it will only last for that little bit of time before dying again. I'm disappointed because when I first got it, it worked great, right. And now I'm stuck with a little paperweight that isn't going to help me.

I tested this device on an Android phone. In addition to its use as a remote camera shutter, it can scroll websites and social media apps. For example, it works great on Snapchat, Instagram, and Reddit. Battery life lasts a while despite heavy use. It's lightweight and small enough for the pocket.

This little gadget is super easy to use and works great with both my iPad and iPhone. I got it mostly to use as a remote shutter button for my iPhone. My mom can’t hold the phone and push the shutter button due to deficits in her hand from a stroke so if pictures are going to get taken I have to take them. I have short arms so good selfies are hard for me to take. My long distance guy likes getting pics so this seemed like a good idea. It’s super easy to set up and use, the instructions are clear and easy to follow even for a non techie. It pairs up with no issues. The charge lasts a long, long time.I tried the page turning function on my iPad kindle reader app and it works smoothly.5/5 I’m very happy with this nifty little gadget and would get again!

If you have not used a remote control with your smartphone you should. Despite being a career photographer and video maker these days I probably use my phone the majority of time unless I am out on a specific photographic mission. My phone is always with me, ready to use within seconds, which no photographer has ever said about their DSLR or most other cameras, even basic point and shoot ones, it’s the rare person who always has a camera with them. There are some creative ways to improve on the inherently poor design of smartphones, which have their benefits but they are not easy to use for content creators, which is why many of them use some kind of remote control. I have a tiny Bluetooth shutter release for my phone but I left it at my other house and got this one as a spare.WHAT I LIKEThis paired with no issues and works every time and the shutter release button has a nice feel to it that I can use by touch. I also like that it is rechargeable so I don’t have to make a special trip to the store to buy one of those overpriced button batteries.WHAT’S JUST OKAYWhile this does the job and that’s what counts there are some things that I’m not thrilled about. One is that it is substantially larger than similar models, which means I am less apt to carry it with me in my pocket all the time. It also has more buttons than I need but that may be a positive for other people so I’m not deducting any points for that. The only thing that I really don’t care for (and it seems to be a flaw on most similar models as well) is that the slide power switch is much too easy to accidentally turn on in my pocket, thus wasting battery and possible activating functions on my phone when I don’t want it to.YES NO MAYBEThis is one of those products that my recommendation is to buy it and try it, and keep it if it works for you. If you don’t like it, simply find another one that better suits your needs.

I read via tablet and have a stand for it. touching the tablet made it wiggle so bought this. Works great but the click of the buttons is kind of loud. FYI if you have a clicker trained dog they will want to know what they did good each click. LOL

I love watching tiktok videos. No I don't make tiktok videos, I just watch, but when I get on a scroll session I can be there for 2 hours easy. This little remote control allows me to lay down and just scroll over and over again. Yes I know there's nothing else lazier than that, but on a Saturday afternoon when I don't want to do a thing, this little remote really comes in handy. I had no issues hooking it up to my tablet, and the battery lasts a long time. Even better, it's port is a C connection.
