My first time owning a bead roller and got this tipping die to see if it could bend metal and it works, now I don't need to buy a metal brake. I took a piece of 22gauge 2 inches x 36 long and made a 1x1 angle, it took 5 passes, do not over tighten dies, they are use only to hold the metal and it you pushing the metal that makes the bend. Also once you get the bend started using a piece of wood also helps. My setup is only showing 1/16 on dies, I found some 22mm ID copper washers, with a small OD, here on amazon and plan to order some and use as shims where needed. Well that's all folks.. Sandman..

Take what I say with a grain of salt, since this is my first use of tipping dies on a bead roller I've had about a month. The working part of the tipping die is positioned at the very edge. This can lead to things shifting slightly, especially with the urethane die, and actually sliding off of the other die. I had to realign my axles to get it to work at all, and even then great care is needed. I've seen other tipping dies on the market that position the die more in the center, it seems like that would work better.
