My speed sled was delivered on time and in perfect condition. The harness isn't super quality but I don't foresee any issues with it. The metal pole that holds the weights in place is also just okay which I why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. I ended up putting a thin piece of foam on the sled because it is very noisy when a plate is added. The design is good and the harness does not get in the way while doing drills. Excellent value for the price and I believe it is quite durable.

Bought for my 13 year old son to train with. Sled is very small it won’t hold a 45lb plate. He has used several times felt like it was kinda cheap made but has held up fine. Would recommend for smaller child that would require less weight to pull.

Sturdy sled that works great. I'm not sure what some others are referring to on the plates that can fit. I estimated, given the dimensions of the sled, that I can fit 25lb plates on it. After receiving it, I can confirm that it easily fits 25lb plates. I can even put 35lb plates on it once I add a 25lb or two, which gets it above the handles. I will say though that this sled isn't really for pulling/pushing big heavy weight. If you need more 5's or 10's than you can fit on that giant spindle, then you should be buying a bigger sled which Titan sells as three times the cost.

If you want to drop 70+ pounds on this thing, or use 45lb weight plates, go find another product. If you're serious about training for speed though, this sled is perfectly suitable.I've used two sleds for training (Track & Field), with anywhere between 15-25 athletes at a time. So far the sleds have held up well to ~14,000m worth of pulling on a structured topcoat/rubber surface (MONDO track) as well as a tougher polyurethane indoor track surface. The sleds have left no marks or tears on the surfaces. We do not use them on gym hardwood as it would tear the surface up.I've used both the standard olympic (2") weight bar for plates, as well as the smaller 1-inch. The threading on both sleds for these bars wasn't perfect, requiring a little muscle to get them fully installed but didn't end up being an issue.Regarding maximum weight supported, which is the source of many of the one star reviews... I personally would never train my athletes at more than 30% of body weight. Since I am dealing with high school athletes, the max we have loaded these down for have been a 200lb male sprinter (60lbs). I wouldn't go over probably 70lbs, as I'm not confident in the strap quality to hold up long under such a load. Check the ego at the door, focus on proper sprint mechanics, not the weight on the sled.Straps and carabiners are of decent quality, but definitely not top of the line. The straps should last me a few seasons, but after that I may need to consider replacing them as I could see them wearing out after continual usage. If you want to run 70+ lbs on these, definitely invest in a sturdier strap solution. Some of the athletes were initially confused with how to put on the harnesses. I took the liberty to mark the left and right arm loops to avoid confusion, after having to stop every 3 minutes to explain how to put them on.

I think this is a great sled for the price. It is a lot cheaper than some of the other sleds and works well so far. It comes with two different poles, one for standard weight plates and one for Olympic ones. It can probably hold about 100 lbs, depending on the weights you use. I have put up to 25lb standard weight plates and they fit on just fine without interfering with the handles or anything.

This sled is great. Like other reviewers stated, just get you a couple of new more heavy duty hooks and you are good to go. I use this to train my daughter for track and love that you simulate hill work with this sled. Great price too. Try buying this in a sporting goods store.

I'm a sprinter and softball player, and my son is a football player. We thought this would be a great addition to our speed work, but the product left much to be desired. My son put it together only to realize the large post doesn't fit standard weights. We used the small post and realized large plates sit atop the handles. So we could only load it with 10 lbs plates, which wasn't very much load. The harness is terrible and rides up the chest so it ends up around the neck. The carabiners are lightweight and not able to hold much weight without breaking. This was not a keeper.
