These work great and are fine as they come however I do some different things with them such as:bench press to failure then rather than stripping the weight I walk one end of the bar at a time back up to the j cups from the spotter arms. This will cause the j cup from most any manufacturer to move and be at an angle till the other side of the bar is on the other j cup. I find this annoying. I also use these upside down (after modification) for starting my cable belt squats at the top of the movement.When I bought these I noticed that in the area of the uprights of the T3 rack where the holes are "westside spacing" the bottom of the j cup covered half of a hole . A few minute with a round file and I matched the j cup to the hole and now I can pin them on the bottom so the never move no matter how I use or position them. I would love to see more metal down there and the hole added in production but the half hole I made works great. Is it safe to do ? It would likely take several tons of pressure to deform the j cup or it would have to shear the pin, neither of which is going to happen.This modification only works within the westside spacing.

These J Hooks fit perfectly. They are strong and easy to remove to lower or heighten. Very pleased with them. I thought they would automatically come with the machine but you had to order separately. No problem, they were very affordable.
