When I couldn't find a shank washer that fit my flush valve after the last degraded and caused the tank of my one-piece AquaSource 1.28gpf toilet to lose water constantly, I bought this whole assembly to replace the last. It was as easy to install as it was to remove the last valve, and it works as expected. Now, there is no water loss from the tank.

I replaced the flapper twice thinking the first was defective, but then I heard the toilet mysteriously refill in the middle of the night. Replaced the valve assembly (which includes a flapper, now my 3rd), which was simple - just 2 screws. Had to trim about an inch of the tube to match the original using a hack saw. All is now quiet and I can sleep.

Fit my Toto one-piece. No leaking. Lesson for me: Do NOT use chlorine based toilet cleaners! It will destroy the rubber seals.
