Tools are supposed to make things easier, but when it comes to clogs, very few things are actually easy to use or effective. This is a dead simple tool that just uses a battery to run a small compressor that builds up pressure and you fire it down your drain. This is as effortless as it gets. Your only responsibility in this process is to make sure you have a nice tight seal or you will be the winner of the contents of your drain pipe. If you don't think the seal is good, cover the area with a towel or something to limit the blast. It's nice because, unlike plungers, it doesn't require a fully clogged drain to function and, unlike snakes, it doesn't take very long to clean up.I used it on two sinks, one vessel sink and one standard, each with a varying level of slowness and it worked perfectly. Just a couple shots down the pipes and they were flowing like new. It's definitely a great value for making your life easier. And unleashing the power of this tool at those stubborn pipes is almost cathartic.

I'm not a plumber, but had a bit of pipe that had proved a real pain - I had previously cleared it with a snake, but it soon clogged up again. This cleared the issue up and it's been good for a few days since. I have a bunch of other Makita tools so it's nice it uses that same power system. Getting it in place took a bit of fiddling, but once I had a good seal it got the job done. Bit of a pain to clean, but what can you do (little bit of bleach and water in a bucket got this done OK).One thing I will caution - the 'deflate' button (trigger) causes a significant amount of recoil if you're using it in a toilet, enough that the first time I did it the battery fell off the heel of the tool and into the toilet bowl. Thankfully it was dry at the time, so no harm done, but if it was full it would have probably ruined the battery. Stabilize the battery with one hand when deflating the tool after use.Other than that, worked great when every other plunger I tried for this toilet couldn't get enough of a seal and pressure to clear the clog. Comes with some little accessories not pictured, like a couple disposable drain snakes and a wall mount so you can hang it up inside a garage or vehicle if you want to. Definitely a tool for a very specific purpose, but if you have a clog and nothing else has dislodged it, this may get you over the finish line. I'm very much pleased with it.

I got this not so much for toilets - more for our bathroom sink which regularly gets clogged with hair. It does not come with a battery, so you'll need to have one to use it. It pressurized to the recommended pressure for vanity sinks (about 40 PSI) in under 10 seconds. It does not auto shutdownso you have to turn it off manually when it reaches the desired pressure. There is however a pressure relief valve, so it won't over pressurize. It comes with two different hard rubber cups to fit various drain sizes. There's a 90 degree bend adapter which allows you to get it in position avoiding the faucet. Overall, it works very good for the sink in question. You may want to cover the area with a towel, because once I "shot" the drain, quite a bit of "pipe goo" was ejected out and got on the mirror, vanity top, me, etc. So I had a little bit of clean up to do - lesson learned. Pretty easy to use and effective on "easy" clogs and does not require me to take apart the plumbing. For the price it's definitely worth it, even though it won't be a high use tool. It stores nicely in the box to put on a shelf or under the cabinet. Besides the little mess of "goo", I'm very satisfied with the performance. I would recommend, provided you already have a battery. Beware the goo!

This battery powered Toilet Plunger is a great unit to have on hand. It's light weight and easy to use. The best part, it uses a Makita type 18V battery (not included). It comes with attachments for toilet, sink and floor drains. There is a built in gauge along with a users guide to show how much pressure you need to use for unclogging different drains. It also comes with a handy wall mount bracket. This plunger is very functional and way better than using a hand plunger, as it requires very little effort to use and less messy. For the price and quality, I recommend it!
