Purchased to make French apple tarts for Thanksgiving with my kids. Nice looking and worked very well. Baking capacity and size were sufficient, a nice solid weight pan, and easy to use. We didn’t have any issues removing the tarts from the pans. The tarts cooked even and well.

J'etais déçue à la réception, les deux plateaux ont un défaut au bord je l'ai aplatit un peu ,on le voit légèrement sur la photo .Je les ai essayé pour des quiches,la cuisson était homogène , l'ensemble de deux est très pratique pour moi, Les deux peuvent aller au même temps au four (deux en un dîner et souper 😊)les portions (pointes) sont juste parfaites.

First time trial making tarts and these pans made me a star! Wonderful , easy to use, nonstick and just the right size for my recipe: 9 inch tart pan required.

Even though I had never made quiche before, I was very please with the results. If you previously refrigerate the dough, and blind bake the pie crust before adding the filling, you will not have problems. Be careful when you remove the pan from the oven: Remember that the bottom is removable! I only had to rinse the pans thoroughly and dry them off with a towel.

My use: to make apple pie with home made dough. simple to use for a first time user.Item came well packaged. Paper in between the two pans- to prevent scratches. Lightweight. Somewhat of a non stick (shiny) surface. Raised rim and base is separate for ease of use + wash.Tips: Imp: base separates when lifting pan with pie- best to slide it on to a wood board- when taking out of oven,add a brush of oil, or dust some flour to prevent the dough form sticking to the base. I put the dough sheet on the surface, and held the pie plate on top to see if the dough sheet was big enough- before placing it inside the pan.Use clean dry hands to crimp the edges, and light touch.
