Nice compact size, the color is a blackened brass/copper. The handle would not stay up and cannot be tightening. I ended up tying a small black cord around the bolt to keep it up.

I purchased this log holder specifically because of the bronze goldfish highlighted. I also had to pay $13.00 in shipping plus the cost which was not cheap for this particular item. I want to return it but I'll have to pay shipping to send it back..very disappointed and upset.

If you are looking for a metal finish, this isn't it. It is not bronze. It is black with a tiny bit of bronze coming through. It looks very rustic. Also only holds a few logs.
