I F-ing hate engineers. They make the simplest thing impossible. The treads on the new bolt are m14-1.75, NOT what the OEM part is. So the nut from the original bolt won't work. Why not supply a nut that works???? Good luck finding a m14-1.75 nut anywhere. OK. Use the original bolt.....WRONG... tho bolt is a different diameter and won't fit the bushings in the new part. 🤦‍♂️ Don't waste your time with this item....

Don’t waste your time with this headache. The bolt has metric threads but the welded nut on the plate it mounts to is sae so it will strip the threads. The factory bolt is sae and won’t fit thru the hole. The split hole for the shift lever is also way to big. The material is crappy. The action is not smooth and binds up. No way to grease the slide. Had to load it up with wd-40 and will have to every time it rains. Just junk.

Bad hardware..the shiny bolt pictured is the wrong thread pitch and will not fit the transmission ... I modified the bolt that I originally took out to fit the sleeve d bushings ...but I have a lot of tools to do the fix ....others will be screwed without 40 years of experience to figure it out before the threads are stripped...could be disastrous.... Luckily I knew something was wrong when I couldn't get it started .. an amature could teLy have some difficulty here trying to insert that bolt... Other than that...it's pretty nice for the money..... Manufacturer revisit the thread pitch!!!!!!

Had to use the old bolt over and the plastic bushing did not fit.

I ended up having to go to Home Depot only to find that they don’t make the right nut. The old nut and bolt are seized so much I’m just going to cross thread my way to victory!

Could use some better bushings, one had to be trimmed to fit properly.

Unable to use the main bolt it came with, as it was a different thread than the truck has on it (96 F-15). My truck has a M14x2.0, this is definitely not that. So I decided to use the original bolt. It's slightly larger so the included bushings don't work, had to use the original bushings with the original bolt, which leaves it with a bit of wiggle room but not too much. The angle of the shifter arm that you push up and down sits in relation to the part that bolts to the bracket is off by possibly 5 degrees from the OEM one too. Ultimately, I was almost able to make this work and then the metal snapped while I was tightening down the shifter lever. I kept being to still move it, tightened it more, could still wiggle it a little, tightened more, then it cracked. Maybe the amount of play was normal, but there were so many other issues with this particular one that I still can't recommend it.
